On Discord, someone brought up the topic of kids' cartoons having innuendos. Which then lead to me talking about The Cat in the Hat and how not so subtle its own adult jokes and innuendos. Then we went back and forth talking about whether or not the movie was good despite making us laugh at the adult jokes. Then they brought up other shows and movies like Madagascar and Disney's The Weekenders and how they had similar jokes (I had Rugrats and Johnny Bravo at the back of my head). And then that got me into talking about what makes those kinds of jokes work in those other shows and movies and not in The Cat in the Hat. That grew my knowledge
